The mission of the Deacons at Friendship Baptist Church is to serve as spiritual leaders and dedicated supporters of the pastor, striving to ensure the church remains aligned with the teachings of Christ as outlined in I Timothy 3:1-16. The Deacons are committed to fostering the spiritual growth of the congregation, visiting and praying for the sick and shut-in, and maintaining meaningful connections with church members. They assist the pastor during baptisms, facilitate communion on the first Sunday of each month, and help uphold the vision and mission of the church through faithful leadership, prayerful service, and compassionate care.
